Heeeey. Seems like I'm always the one who leads the way to updatin' this thing, and I don't normally have anything to say. Anyway. News! We actually have news! Two newbies -- 'Fei 'Fei and his buddy Lio -- have made it on the scene, and're already causing trouble. (Well, sorta.) In any case, long story short -- we're getting a new place! Arthur says it should be ready for us by th'weekend at th'latest (Or there will be "favors owed," or so he says). Not that I needed more room or anything, I mean, I did have my own room... *preen* But, uhm, supposedly I'm going to get an art room! Wouldn't that be great? Four story house, more bedrooms than even we'll know what to do with, an'a pool, even! Beat that! ...Anyway, there are claims of hogging going on behind my back, so I'll leave them to their "news," no way it can beat mine. *innocent grin* (And I get the attic room. Hah!)

We're going to have to get a new name. No more closet! No one could be more enthused than I, for I shall get my own library. For rows and rows of books. And more books. Ah, the wonder. This year I've been busy!

In April I pushed delusionality in the mud (-17 points). In October I gave sykkea a kidney (1000 points). Last Tuesday I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). In January I broke tanya_kami's X-Box (-12 points). In July I put gum in daluci's hair (-12 points).

Okay, so Spin the Bottle was kinda fun, but it would've been more fun if it hadn't made a go at being 'Let's All Kiss My Boyfriend.' Seamus is still acting like a zombie -- walking into walls, talking to himself... Okay, fine, he's only knocked into a wall once, and that was because I shouted "Look out! Riku's behind you!" when he was turning a corner, but... he's still talking to himself! Quinn refuses to acknowlege that the game happened (Which might have more to do with my taunting than with anything else.... Come on, can you blame me? The guy had it coming to him the moment he refused to tell Tulari who he kissed. What, is he ashamed? Geesh. It's not like I mauled him or anything. *rolls his eyes* I think that's about the sum -- well, except Quentin, but he actually wants to speak for himself, for once, so I'll leave him to that.

Finished a wonderful book the other evening, and got to catch the tail end of what seems to have been a very interesting game. I feel I ought to say I would have liked to catch its entirety, but... the book was probably much more exciting, as fun-filled as the game seems to have been. ...Really quite useless observations, but I thought I ought to post something this once.

1) If it's honest gambling (neither rigged by whoever's dealing or judging or whatever is going on, nor in the control of cheaters), I haven't a problem. It can be a good way to waste time, a way to make a lot of money very quickly... But if people aren't responsible enough to stop, it isn't my problem.
2) Cats. All of the dogs I've had the misfortune of meeting have been jumpy, annoying, slobbery beings. Cats are (in my experience) more self-possessed and less needy.
3) Favorite memory? Hm. One of my earliest memories is of when I was six or seven, walking alone on a beach. I found a beautiful, glowing stone in the sand. I still have it -- keep it with me almost always, as a matter of fact. Does that count?
4) Neither. They are products of their choices and what situations they are forced into.
5) You'd have to go out with him first. *rolls her eyes* Mm... Malark. (My ex-boyfriend. Goodness, but that's a long story.)

Of all of the turn arounds, this is one I hadn't expected -- Valerie played a prank on Quinn before Quinn had a chance to do anything to anyone. Can someone say "ironic?" The funniest part is that it's kept him from all of the pranks he wanted to play. But I'm getting ahead of myself. She apparently found some weird witch-doctor spell-like thing that made it so he could only speak, write, and understand some forgotten language that only Val knows. So he's been walking around speaking gibberish all day. Valerie bursts out laughing every time he comes into a room because he gets this murderous look on his face. At least, I assume that's why she's laughing. The reason it's kept him from all of his pranks is that he, being intelligent, decided to lock all of his pranking materials up with a voice-commanded lock. Problem is, since the thing is coded to his voice (and he's the only one who knows the password anyway) and he can't say the word in the language he set it up for, all of his stuff is stuck until further notice.
